Fleeing While Being Treated, West Aceh Prostitution Suspect Becomes Fugitive
MEULABOH - Police Investigator Wilayatul Hisbah (Islamic Law Enforcement Police) West Aceh Regency issued a wanted list (DPO) status against Faridah (56), a resident of Drien Rampak Village, Meulaboh, for running away while undergoing medical treatment at the hospital.
"We are still looking for the suspect who provided this covert prostitution place, we are still looking for the whereabouts of the suspect in order to undergo the applicable legal process," said Head of Wilayatul Hisbah Division of the West Aceh Regency Satpol PP Service, Lazuan, to ANTARA, Wednesday, September 17.
He said the suspect Faridah was known to have fled while undergoing medical treatment at the Cut Nyak Dhien Meulaboh Regional General Hospital, West Aceh, last Saturday (6/8).
Based on the results of the investigation, he continued, the suspect Faridah allegedly fled assisted by a relative while visiting the hospital.
He was previously arrested by the Islamic law enforcement police in a shop/kedai rented by the suspect while providing a room and for the rent of a masher and allegedly providing women.
"For the perverted couple, we are still detaining them, because they are already suspects. However, we are still searching for Mrs. Faridah," said Lazuan.
The West Aceh Regency Government (Pemkab) has asked the suspect Faridah and her family to cooperate and respect the legal process that is currently underway.

Lazuan said the case, which is being handled by West Aceh WH Police investigators, is currently also P-21 from the West Aceh District Attorney's Office and is waiting for the transfer of files and suspects to the public prosecutor (JPU) for trial.
His party also asked the suspect's family to hand over the suspect Faridah so that the ongoing legal process can be completed immediately.
