KKP Officially Introduces New Logo In Today's Memory, September 17, 2021

JAKARTA Memories of today, four years ago, September 17, 2021, the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) officially introduced a new logo. The new logo is in the form of a four-circle blue gradation around the Garuda Pancasila emblem.

Previously, the fish logo had long been a characteristic of the KKP. Fish is considered a maritime symbol. However, the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, disagreed. He considered the fish logo fengsui to be not good. Not to mention that the KKP had stumbled upon the lobster seed corruption case.

The image of the KKP is getting worse due to lobster seed corruption. Corruption is not kidding. The Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Edhy Prabowo himself became the main actor. He is the mastermind behind the government's desire to export fry abroad.

He underlies the idea of opening the export tap of fry for the livelihood of the Indonesian people. He views that the export potential of fry has abundant profits. A profit that can be fuel for the development of the country. Even though Edhy's view was rejected by many parties.

Exporting fry is a detrimental effort. The price is low, unlike adult lobster exports. However, Edhy did not want to hear criticism. He considered criticism only a tone of pessimism. Later Edhy got his own sap.

Exports that are echoed to bring benefits are actually a place for Edhy to make money in a dirty way: corruption. Edhy enjoyed the money from corruption from the provision of fry permits. He was also arrested by the KPK for being proven to have spent the proceeds of gratification from the export license of fry on November 25, 2020.

Edhy spent the money abroad to buy a series of luxury items. The detention was for Edhy's career as a state official to end. He apologized to President Joko Widodo. He also apologized to the leader of the Gerindra party, Prabowo Subianto.

He then immediately resigned from the party and the position of Minister of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries. He considered the resignation as a form of responsibility because he practiced corruption.

"This is an accident, I will be responsible for the afterlife. I apologize to the entire community, especially the fisheries community who may be betrayed a lot."

"I also apologize to my party's extended family (Gerindra) and I will resign as deputy chairman of the party. I will also ask not to be a minister anymore, and I think the process is already underway. I will face this with a big soul," said Edhy at the KPK building as quoted by the BBC website, November 26, 2020.

Edhy's position was then taken over by Sakti Wahyu Trenggono as the new Minister of the KKP. Instead of rushing to reform the KKP, Sakti is actually busy thinking about changing the new logo first. He considered this desire as a form of defecation because the image of the KKP was destroyed because of fry corruption.

Sakti no longer wants the KKP logo to depict fish. He considered the fish fengsui bad. He considers fish to be a living thing that is often caught. Sakti then rushed to introduce the new KKP logo on September 17, 2021.

The new logo is in the form of a four-slur circle with a blue gradation and in the middle there is a Garuda Pancasila symbol. The meaning of the logo that the Sakti wants to display is unity, prosperity, and never giving up to prosper the marine community.

"Alhamdulillah, after going through a long process and all kinds of sensitivity have been passed and finally today the new logo was inaugurated. The KKP must rise, the KKP must be great. Let's work with a new spirit with a new logo for the advanced NKRI. ."

"The new KKP logo was created with the spirit of realizing a prosperous marine and fisheries community and the management of marine and fishery resources that are sovereign, independent, personality, and based on mutual cooperation in accordance with blue economic principles," said Sakti in the launch of the new KKP logo at Mina Bahari III Building, Central Jakarta, as quoted by the pageANTARA, September 17, 2021.
