Menkopolkam And Menpora Baru Will Be Announced By Prabowo Today?

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto is rumored to be inaugurating the coordinating minister for politics, law and security (Menko Polkam) and the new minister of youth and sports (menpora) today, Wednesday, September 17.

When confirmed, the Head of the Special Development and Investigation Control Agency (Bappisus) Aris Marsudiyanto admitted that he did not know for sure.

He asked all parties to wait for an official announcement from the Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi.

"I don't know exactly. Later, after the decision, let it be conveyed by the Minister of State Secretary," Aris told reporters at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 16.

When asked if President Prabowo Subianto had appointed a person to occupy the position, Aris only said that the cabinet reshuffle was entirely the prerogative of the president.

"Wow, I don't understand, the reshuffle should be his (Prabowo) business, his prerogative. Don't ask me about the reshuffle," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the position of coordinating minister and interim who is currently led by the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Sjafrie, Aris said he could continue without a deadline, depending on the president's needs.

"The name is ad interim, there is no time limit, it can take a week, two weeks, a month," he said.

Aris said the inauguration of the coordinating minister adjusted Prabowo's needs in government. He believes Prabowo will choose to come from the nation's best son.

"Oh, the President will look for the best son, for sure. He will look for the nation's best son indiscriminately, from any ethnicity, where did he come from," he concluded.

It is known that President Prabowo Subianto officially carried out the second cabinet reshuffle in the Red and White Cabinet on Monday.

Prabowo appointed Purbaya Yudhi Sadive as finance minister replacing Sri Mulyani. Ferry Juliantono became the minister of cooperatives replacing Budi Arie Setiadi.

Furthermore, Mukhtaruddin became the minister of protection for Indonesian migrant workers replacing Abdul Kadir Karding. Then, Mochamad Irfan Yusuf became minister of Hajj and Umrah, and Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak as deputy minister of Hajj and Umrah.

Prabowo removed Budi Gunawan from the positions of Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs and Dito Ariotedjo as Menpora. Until now, Prabowo has not inaugurated a second replacement.

However, Prabowo has appointed the Minister of Defense (Menhan) Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin as the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs ad interim.
