BMKG: Light Rain In Most Of Indonesia Today
JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that the weather in most areas in Indonesia has the potential to rain with light intensity on Tuesday, September 16.
"The potential for thick cloudy weather occurs in the Banda Aceh area," said Prakirawan Indah Fitrianti on the BMKG Youtube channel, quoted by ANTARA.
Then light rain is predicted to occur in the areas of Padang, Pekanbaru, and Tanjung Pinang. The public is asked to be aware of thunderstorms that have the potential to occur in the Medan area.
Light rain has the potential to flush the Bengkulu, Jambi, Palembang, and Bandar Lampung areas.
The public is asked to be aware of rain accompanied by lightning that has the potential to occur in the Pangkalpinang area.
"On the island of Java, the potential for running air weather occurs in the Surabaya area," he said.
Light rain is predicted to flush the Serang, Jakarta, and Semarang areas.
Meanwhile, rain with moderate intensity is predicted to occur in Yogyakarta.
The public is asked to be aware of the possibility of rain accompanied by lightning in Bandung.
"Furthermore, on the islands of Bali and Nusa Tenggara, the potential for sunny and cloudy weather will occur in the Kupang area," he said.
Light rain has the potential to occur in Denpasar and Mataram. "On the island of Kalimantan, the potential for light rain will occur in the Tanjung Selor area," he said.
Rain with moderate intensity is forecast in Pontianak. The public is asked to be aware of the possibility of rain accompanied by lightning in the areas of Banjarmasin, Palangka Raya, and Samarinda.
"For Sulawesi Island, the potential for cloudy weather occurs in Makassar and Kendari," he said.
