Persija Coach: Rizky Ridho Has A Capacity Of Playing In Europe

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta coach, Mauricio Souza, gave support to the captain, Rizky Ridho, regarding competence to appear in the European arena. This is related to Ridho's desire to play abroad, aka abroad.

Recently, there have been many questions about Rizky Ridho's future at Persija Jakarta. You see, the captain's contract will indeed end at the end of the 2025/2026 season.

Regarding that, Ridho said that his party and the club continue to have discussions for the best possibility.

In an effort to extend the contract, it was widely mentioned that Ridho also asked for a clause to be able to play abroad. This was responded to by Mauricio Souza who admitted that referring to the team's performance, Ridho did have the appropriate quality to play abroad.

Ridho did not deny when asked about the opportunity to play abroad. He revealed that he was working on a number of things with his agent so that opportunities to play abroad are open.

"It is true that there is communication with agents. I am taking care of clauses that people may be waiting for, namely I can play abroad. So just wait," said Ridho on the same occasion.

Rizky Ridho was indeed the doorstop for Persija's mainstay. Even though he was only 23 years old, the former Persebaya Surabaya player showed his maturity as a leader at the heart of defense.

Joining the Kemayoran Tigers since 2023, Ridho has played in 61 matches. He has even always been the main choice of any team coach.

This season, Ridho was duet by Mauricio Souza with naturalized player Jordi Amat. Both are also regular players in the Indonesian national team.
