NATO Countries That Send Russian Drones Over Ukraine Mean War With Moscow
JAKARTA - The implementation of the idea of creating a no-fly zone over Ukraine and the possibility of NATO countries shooting down Russian drones would mean a war between the alliance and Russia, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said.
"Seriously, the application of Kyiv's provocative ideas and other stupid people to create 'prohibition zones flying over Ukraine' and let NATO countries bring down our drones would mean only one thing: NATO's war with Russia," Medvedev wrote on Telegram, commenting on Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski's remarks on plans for a no-fly zone over Ukraine. , reported TASS September 15.
Medvedev noted, "European's strong initiative 'East Guard' made him tempted. "This seems to be the only thing left of the 'a willing coalition'," he stressed.
Earlier, following the intrusion of Russian drones into the airspace of his country, Polish Foreign Minister Rados Badminton Sikorski suggested that the West intercept Russian drones and missiles in Ukrainian airspace.
"If you ask me privately: We have to think about it," Sikorski said in an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung about a possible no-fly zone, quoted by Ukraine Today.
