Tangerang Kejari Sets 1 Employee Of Himbara Bank Marketing Personnel In Fictitious Credit Corruption
TANGERANG - The District Attorney (Kejari) of Tangerang Regency, Banten, has named AAS, an employee at the State Bank Association (Himbara) as a suspect in a corruption case with a fictitious credit mode.
"The determination of the suspect against AAS for alleged criminal acts of corruption of irregularities in the context of lending and the use of credit realization results, as well as the activities of the beneficiaries or fees for credit initiated by the suspect," said Tangerang District Attorney's Head Afrillyanna Purba in Tangerang, Monday, confiscated by Antara.
He said the suspect AAS, who is known to serve as an officer, was suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption between 2021 and 2023.
As a result of his actions, the state is indicated to have suffered a loss of Rp271,245,048
"The mode used by the suspect is tempilan and masking. Or one of the modes of banking crime, where credit applications are made in the name of debtors, but the funds from the credit are used by other parties, not by debtors whose names are listed," he said.
"Meanwhile, masks are the practice of applying for credit using someone else's identity for then all loan funds are controlled by the real debtor," he added.

He revealed that on temporary loans, credit funds were partly used by debtors and partly by other parties who jointly applied for credit.
Meanwhile, mask credit, all credit funds are controlled and used by other parties who are not legal debtors, who use the debtor's name without his knowledge.
For his actions, the suspect AAS was charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 18 subsidiary Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Law on the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption.
"That the Tangerang District Attorney's Office investigators carried out Phase II, namely handing over the suspect and evidence to the public prosecutor, as well as detaining the suspect at the Class IIB Serang Detention Center," he said.
