Friends Reunion On HBO Max Presents A Lineup Of Famous Stars
JAKARTA - HBO streaming service Max confirmed that the Friends reunion special will be released on May 27.
Titled Friends: The Reunion, the show is a special that airs on HBO Max. The event was released one day the same year as the launch of WarnerMedia's streaming platform.
Initially, Friends: The Reunion was about to be released when HBO Max was first launched but was delayed due to the pandemic.
Friends: The Reunion features six main cast, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), and David Schwimmer (Ross).
This special event contains a talk session between the players who will discuss the success of Friends as well as the story behind the series.
Directed by Ben Winston, the event will also be attended by a host of famous guest stars, namely David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.
Friends: The Reunion is produced by Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane as well as six of its main players. In a teaser uploaded Thursday, May 13, six Friends players walked back to the camera.
Friends is the most successful television series of all time created by Kauffman and Crane. The series had 10 seasons and won an Emmy award. The Friends: The Reunion special can be seen may 27 on HBO Max.
