JAKARTA - HBO streaming service Max confirmed that the Friends reunion special will be released on May 27.

Titled Friends: The Reunion, the show is a special that airs on HBO Max. The event was released one day the same year as the launch of WarnerMedia's streaming platform.

Initially, Friends: The Reunion was about to be released when HBO Max was first launched but was delayed due to the pandemic.

Friends: The Reunion features six main cast, Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), and David Schwimmer (Ross).

Friends: The Reunion is produced by Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane as well as six of its main players. In a teaser uploaded Thursday, May 13, six Friends players walked back to the camera.
