Bulog Affirms No Damaged Rice Distributed To The Community

JAKARTA - Perum Bulog emphasized that rice distributed to the community, either through food assistance or the Food Supply Stabilization and Price Program (SPHP), remains in good condition without damage or decreased quality (disposal).

President Director of Perum Bulog Ahmad Rizal Ramdhani explained that the stock of rice in Bulog's warehouse could not be 100 percent free of damage. However, he dared to ensure that all rice distributed in the best quality.

"There is nothing (corrupted rice distributed). What is called a warehouse, it is impossible for some to be 100 percent not damaged," said Rizal, quoted by ANTARA in Jakarta, Sunday.

Rizal said that Bulog always maintains rice stocks in warehouses, starting from daily, weekly, monthly, to semester. This maintenance is also carried out in stages, in stages, and continues, so that it can get optimal results.

"We guarantee that our rice is truly healthy, clean, unwarranted and unsecured," said Rizal asserted.

Regarding the complaints of SPHP rice and assistance that was considered dry or pera, Rizal said that it came from rice seeds or varieties when planting.
