Prabowo Subianto's Video In The Viral Cinema, This Is The Response Of The State Secretariat

JAKARTA - The Ministry of State Secretariat gave a response regarding President Prabowo Subianto's video in theaters that went viral on social media. Prabowo's video was known to be played before the film started in theaters recently.

Regarding the video screening, the Minister of the Indonesian State Secretariat, Prasetyo Hadi, that conveying messages in public spaces such as cinemas is a common thing to do. Especially if the video that is played does not interfere with comfort and does not violate the applicable rules.

"Of course, as long as it doesn't violate the rules, it doesn't interfere with the comfort of beauty, so the use of public media to convey messages is certainly a normal thing," said Hadi Prasetyo, Sunday, September 14, 2025.
