Wiz Khalifa Visits Bali For The First Show In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The US rapper, Wiz Khalifa, is scheduled to appear for the first time in Indonesia through a show at a famous nightclub in Bali, Atlas Beach Club.

Through an Instagram post, it was announced that the show with the title "Wiz Khalifa LIVE in Atlas Beach Club" will be held on October 22.

"Bali, be prepared! The moment we all have been waiting for, Wiz Khalifa LIVE in Atlas Beach Club," wrote the organizer, citing an upload caption, Sunday, September 14.

This show is one of the most awaited by hip-hop music lovers in the country. The reason is, the presence of the 38-year-old rapper has been awaited since he achieved great success through his collaboration song with Snoop Dogg and Bruno Mars, Young, Wild & Free, in 2011.

Wiz Khalifa's musical journey began in the mid-2000s, releasing a mixtape that led him to be known in the independent hip-hop scene.

His 2006 album, show and prove, became the first step, before gaining widespread attention through the single Black and Yellow (2010) which was a huge success and became the anthem of his hometown, Pittsburgh.

Since then, Khalifa has consistently released hits such as 'See You Again' with Charlie Puth globally through the film Furious 7.

The music is known to combine relaxed rap with lyrics about everyday life, freedom, and its distinctive lifestyle. With the unique sound and strong presence on stage, Wiz Khalifa managed to maintain his position as one of the modern hip-hop icons.
