Galang Donations In Blitar For Flood Victims In His Country, Pakistani Citizens Deported

BLITAR - The Class II Immigration Office of Non-TPI Blitar, East Java, arrested and deported a foreign national (WNA) from Pakistan, for raising donations for flood victims in his country.

Head of the Class II Immigration Office of Non-TPI Blitar Aditya Nursanto said the foreigner who was arrested was SA on September 3, 2025.

"SA raises funds without permission from authorized agencies, the public has been ratified by SA activities that have been seen in several areas in the Blitar area in recent times," he said in Blitar, Antara, Thursday, September 11.

He added that the officers then carried out intensive examinations of SA related to their activities.

After going through an examination, SA was declared to have violated Article 75 paragraph 1 of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. The person concerned was subjected to immigration administrative action in the form of deportation.

"SA is legally proven to have violated Article 75 of the Immigration Law and will be forcibly repatriated on Thursday, September 11, 2025," he said.

He added that Blitar Immigration is also always committed to protecting Blitar's territory from foreigners who do not comply with the applicable rules.

"We also appeal to the people of Blitar, if they find suspicious foreigners, they should report to the nearest immigration office," he said.

In 2024, Blitar Immigration also deported two foreign nationals (WNA) from Pakistan with the initials MI (45) and MA (44), regarding the actions of the two of them collecting donations by force.

MI and MA are subject to NOT in accordance with Article 75 paragraph (1) of Law Number 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration. Subsequently, deportation was carried out with a time of six months of deterrence.

MI and MA previously entered and were in the Malaysian area for donation collection activities. Then, both of them landed at Juanda Airport and then continued their journey to Bandar Lampung to collect donations, move cities to Blitar.

The total donations collected were also quite large up to around Rp263 million with the mode of collecting donations for Palestine.
