Apple Reveals IPadOS 26 Launch Date, Here's The Feature To Come

JAKARTA Apple has launched a new line of devices on its Awe Dropping show. Not only introducing its newest device, Apple also announced the official launch date of the iPadOS 26.

The latest Operations System (OS) for this iPad is confirmed to be coming on September 15. With the launch of this OS, users will get a number of new features that can encourage more interaction with their tablets.

One feature that will be present on iPadOS 26 is a new windowing system. This feature allows users to change size and move the app window, similar to what users can do on Mac devices.

This update also introduces a new design that Apple had exhibited at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025, namely Liquid Glass. This transparent design will be present at various interfaces and applications, providing a more modern look.

In addition, the iPadOS 26 will be equipped with a redesigned File application. Thanks to this update, users can easily find and manage files on devices and iCloud.

Apple also includes an Optimized Preview application for the iPad through this OS update. With this application, users can view and annotate PDF documents.

This update also includes the Phone application that supports the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Direct Translation feature. This feature is very useful for those who often communicate across languages.
