2 Brimob Pelindas Affan Kurniawan Kompak Files An Appeal After Being Sanctioned By KKEP

JAKARTA - Two members of Brimob, Kompol Cosmas Kaju Gae and Bripka Rohmad, officially filed an appeal against the decision of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) trial.

Both are known to have been processed for ethics because they were involved in the series of deaths of Affan Kurniawan due to being run over by a tactical vehicle (rantis).

"Against the decision of the KKEP trial that was held last week, both of them have filed an appeal," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko to reporters, Wednesday, September 10.

Kompol Cosmas Kaju Gae underwent a KKEP trial on Wednesday, September 3. As a result, the trial panel imposed sanctions for dismissal or Disrespectful Dismissal (PTDH).

Meanwhile, Bripka Rohmad was also found guilty and sentenced to a seven-year demotion mutation.

During the trial, the two Brimob members seemed to have stated that they had no intention of crossing Affan Kurniawan.

In addition, they also mentioned that they only took actions to create a conducive situation.

In a series of events, Kompol Cosmas Kaju Gae sat in the passenger seat on the left front. Meanwhile, Bripka Rohmat is known to be a ranstis driver.
