The Ministry Of PKP's Budget Of IDR 10.8 Trillion In 2026, What For?

The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) budget for 2026 has been approved by Commission V of the DPR amounting to IDR 10.8 trillion.

Secretary-General of the Ministry of PKP Didyk Choiroel said most of the budget would be used for the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS).

"The work plan of the Ministry of PKP in 2026 is proposed with a budget ceiling of Rp. 10.8 trillion or this targets 406,457 housing units (in the BSPS program)," Didyk said in a Hearing Meeting (RDP) with Commission V DPR RI, quoted Wednesday, September 10.

Didyk explained, from Rp10.89 trillion it will be used for various needs of each directorate general. For the Secretariat General, the budget proposed was Rp891.74 billion, then the Inspectorate General of the proposed budget was Rp26.87 billion.

Next, the budget of the Directorate General of Settlement Areas was proposed as much as Rp2.93 trillion, most of which were used for BSPS.

The budget is also used for flats with 3 towers, special houses with 244 units, public house PSU 807 units and handling slums and sanitation as many as 75 ha (5 locations) per 1,000 units.

"Most of these are BSPS with indications of 120,000 units, namely BSPS for the coast. In addition, it is used for management support, handling public houses, sanitation and PSU as well as special houses and flats," he said.

Then, the budget for the Directorate General of Rural Housing was proposed as much as Rp3.92 trillion, which was mostly used for BSPS.

Approximately 160,000 uninhabitable houses will be renovated in rural areas.

In addition, the budget will also be used for flats as many as 6 towers/137 units, special disaster houses as many as 410 units, public house PSU as many as 600 units and handling slums and sanitation as many as 75 ha (5 locations) per 1,000 units.

As for the Directorate General of Urban Housing, the proposed budget is IDR 3.07 trillion which is used for BSPS 120,000 units, flats 13 towers, public house PSU 600 units and handling slums and sanitation as many as 75 ha (5 locations) per 1,000 units.

Adapun anggaran untuk Direktorat Jenderal Tata Kelola dan Pengendalian Risiko diajukan sebanyak Rp41,7 miliar.

"Anggaran Rp41,17 miliar adalah untuk tata kola, pengendalian risiko, monitoring evaluasi, memitigasi anti korupsi untuk penguatan pengawasan seluruh kegiatan di Kementerian PKP," pungkasnya.

The budget for the Directorate General of Governance and Risk Control is proposed as much as Rp41.7 billion.

"The Rp41.17 billion budget is for collaboration, risk control, evaluation monitoring, mitigating anti-corruption to strengthen supervision of all activities at the Ministry of PKP," he concluded.
