Retired Tasks, Karding Promises To Support And Guard Prabowo's Government

JAKARTA - Abdul Kadir Karding stated that his tenure as Minister for the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (P2MI) has ended. He promised to continue to support and guard President Prabowo Subianto's government.

"I promise to support and be loyal to President Prabowo and his government," said Karding in a video message, Tuesday, September 9, which was confiscated by Antara.

In his farewell message, Karding expressed his gratitude to President Prabowo for the trust given to him to lead the Ministry of P2MI.

He said he was proud and grateful to be able to help Prabowo's government for almost a year in carrying out its duties to protect Indonesian migrant workers.

Karding also expressed his appreciation to the ranks and staff of the Ministry of P2MI for their support during his leadership.

Karding also realized that many things could not be resolved while serving as Minister of P2MI. For this reason, he apologized to all Indonesian migrant workers (PMI) and PMI candidates for efforts that have not been resolved.

"Even so, I am well aware that all tasks are a mandate that we must accept and release with good awareness," he said.

For this reason, Karding promised to continue to help and oversee President Prabowo Subianto's government to create a better Indonesia.

"I am proud to have been part of the great journey of the Indonesian nation. I will travel from other life paths to continue to help and guard President Prabowo Sudianto for Indonesia," said Karding.

In addition, Karding also congratulated the new Minister of P2MI, Mukhtarudin, for his new assignment at the Ministry of P2MI.

"Congratulations and success to my brother, Bang Mukhtarudin. I know him well as my brother. I am sure he will be able to improve governance and build an ecosystem to protect Indonesian migrant workers," he said.

Earlier on Monday, President Prabowo Subianto summoned Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Mukhtarudin to the Presidential Palace and inaugurated him as the new Minister of P2MI, replacing Abdul Kadir Karding.
