Puteri Komarudin's Profile Rumored To Replace Dito Ariotedjo As Menpora

YOGYAKARTA - Puteri Komarudin's profile is in the spotlight after it was rumored that she would replace Dito Ariotedjo as Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora). Both are cadres from the Golkar Party. However, President Prabowo Subianto has not appointed the Minister of Youth and Sports to replace Dito Ariotedjo who was removed.

The Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg), Prasetyo Hadi, said that the candidate who replaced the Minister of Youth and Sports was still outside the city so that the Menpora seat was still vacant.

"The Minister of Youth and Sports, as a replacement for the Minister of Youth and Sports, happens to be still out of town so he cannot take part in the inauguration this afternoon," he said at the State Palace, Central Jakarta, Monday (8/9).

The issue strengthened after the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, admitted that he had submitted the name of a member of the Golkar faction to replace Dito in the Menpora seat.

"I have (followed). I don't know yet," explained Bahlil at the Presidential Palace Complex, Central Jakarta, Monday (8/9).

Puteri Komarudin has the full name Puteri Anetta Komarudin. She is the daughter of Golkar Party politician Ade Komarudin. She was born in Bandung, August 21, 1993.

Puteri Anetta Komarudin studied basicly at Al Azhar 01 Jakarta. Then continued his first secondary education at SMPN 19 Mayestik Jakarta.

Puteri underwent her upper secondary education at SMA Chai Chee Secondary School Singapore. Then proceed to Diploma level at the Trinity Collage Foundation Studies.

He took undergraduate education at the University of Melbourne Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce title in 2015.

Currently, Puteri is active as a member of the DPR-RI and Deputy Secretary General of the Golkar Party DPP. Puteri has been a member of the DPR-RI since 2019 and was re-elected for the 2024-2029 period.

"All of them are appointments of dismissal of ministers, that is the prerogative of the President, because of the assistant minister of the president," he explained.

Until now, there has been no official confirmation from the Presidential Palace regarding the new minister who will serve as Menpora.
