Mention Laura Meizani's Name, Vadel Badjideh Crying When Reading Pleidoi

JAKARTA - The trial of the alleged immoral act that dragged the name of content creator Vadel Badjideh was resumed with the reading of the plea, aka a memorandum of defense from Vadel on the demands of the Public Prosecutor (JPU).

After the trial, Vadel had said that the pleidoi reading could run smoothly. He admitted that he had read his own plea before the judge.

"(The reading of the plea) is smooth. (The making of the plea) We discuss it, it's from personal," said Vadel Badjideh at the South Jakarta District Court, Monday, September 8.

On the other hand, Vadel Badjideh's attorney, Oya Abdul Malik, explained the contents of the plea made by Vadel, one of the things that was conveyed was the rebuttal of the accusations thrown at him.

"Yes, maybe there are regrets, there is sadness because his family was blasphemed for what he did, but he also said that not all the accusations he made were in accordance with the facts of his trial. That's why he asked to see the facts of the trial," said Oya Abdul Malik.

Oya also said that Vadel had cried when he read the contents of his own plea because of regret at his client.

"Oh yes. Yes, he cried earlier when he read the pledoi. Yes, teenagers are getting older who don't think what the result of his actions is, but back again he said that he woke up in a third of the night to beg for forgiveness and he complained about the people who took part in wronging him," he continued.

What is interesting is the content of Vadel's own plea, Oya said that her client mentioned the name of her lover, Laura Meizani alias Nikita Mirzani's daughter who was suspected of being a victim of immoral acts.

"Oh yes mentioned, mentioned. (The reason is said) It's not allowed, boss. Later, when the decision is made, I will tell you," he concluded.
