Chris Martin Admits It Will Be Difficult To Move On When Coldplay Decides To Stop
JAKARTA - Chris Martin had revealed Coldplay's plan to stop working when it released 12 studio albums. Getting closer to that moment, Chris admitted that he was not fully ready.
The vocalist revealed how music became a part of his difficult life to release. He's still trying to let go of everything even though he knows it's not easy.
"I tried to give up everything, but I still love my heart, and maybe it's not a good thing. I like everything, even things that make no sense in the world. I'm so grateful," Chris Martin said in his interview with The Sun, citing NME on September 8.
Coldplay's journey has given Chris meaning and purpose in life. He can meet many people, see the human perspective in various parts of the world, and the whole musical process he goes through.

"I like our band, I like what we do, I like the songs produced, I like where we go, I like the world's perspective he gives. We see things that connect humans more than most people see. I like it. So maybe that means I'm tied to him," he continued.
Feeling that he really needed Coldplay, this British musician is slowly trying to reduce his dependence.
"I need to learn to let go of my need and try to appreciate what is being done, without having to be tied up and need it. I hope I can just 'want'," he said.
On the previous occasion, Chris Martin confirmed that he would still stop after 12 albums. And now Coldplay has collected 10 albums with Moon Music as the latest release (2024), which is an indicator that their journey has entered the final round.
