Menpora Baru Has Not Been Announced Because It Is Still Out Of Town
President Prabowo Subianto has not announced the name of the new Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) of the Republic of Indonesia to replace Dito Ariotedjo because he is still out of town.
President Prabowo Subianto decided to reshuffle five ministers and add one ministry on Monday, September 8, 2025, evening WIB.
Moments after the Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg), Prasetyo Hadi, announced the reshuffle, Prabowo immediately appointed new ministers.
However, only four have been inaugurated, including the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, which are the new ministries.

The position of the Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs (Kemenko Polkam) and the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora) is still vacant because the name of the new minister has not been announced.
"The changer of the Menpora happens to be in a position outside the city so he cannot take part in the inauguration this afternoon and will be rescheduled for the next inauguration procession," said Prasetyo after the inauguration.
The Coordinating Ministry for Political and Security Affairs (Kemenko Polkam) was previously led by Budi Gunawan. Apart from Dito and Budi, Prabowo also replaced Sri Mulyani from the Minister of Finance (Menkeu).
Then the other two names are Abdul Kadir Karding - Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Works (Minister of P2MI) and Budi Arie Setiadi, Minister of Cooperatives (Menkop).
The Minister of Finance is now led by Purbaya Yudhi Sadives, Minister of Migrant Workers Protection is now occupied by Mukhtarudin, and Menkop is filled by Ferry Juliantoro.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah was led by Mochammad Irfan Yusuf. He was assisted by Dahnil Anzar as deputy minister.
