The West Java Regional Police gave extraordinary promotions to four members who were injured while on duty to secure demonstrations in the West Java region.
West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudi Setiawan assessed that the four Polri personnel had shown their unconditional dedication to the nation and state during the demonstration.
"The four personnel suffered injuries while on duty, and their sacrifices were considered as clear evidence of their unconditional dedication to the country," said Rudi in Bandung, Antara, Monday, September 8.
The promotion was given based on the Telegram Letter of the National Police Chief ST/1192/IX/KEP./2025 as a form of state appreciation for their dedication, courage, and sacrifice in carrying out their duties.

The hurt they are experiencing is not a weakness, but a clear proof of devotion. This extraordinary promotion is a symbol of respect for the state for the courage and loyalty they show," he said.
He hopes that this extraordinary promotion can be an inspiration for all members of the National Police to continue to do their best for the community, nation and state.
