Mike Tyson Will Clashe With Floyd Mayweather

JAKARTA Former heavyweight world champion Mike Tyson will be in the ring against Floyd Mayweather Jr in an exhibition bout scheduled to take place next year.

The clash between the two big names was organized by CSI Sports/Fight Sports. However, details regarding the date, location, and combat rules have not been announced.

"This fight is not something the world or I have ever imagined. However, boxing has entered a new era full of uncertainty and this fight is really unexpected," said Tyson, confiscated by BBC Sport.

Tyson, 59, is an undisputed former heavyweight champion. On the other hand, Mayweather, 48, retired without losing 50 fights.

After retiring for 19 years, Tyson returned to the ring in November 2024 against Jake Paul. The controversial match ended in the Concrete Neck defeat.

Tyson recorded 50 wins from 59 fights during active professional fights in the heavyweight class. Meanwhile, Mayweather is in the welterweight.

"You already knew that if I was going to do something, it would be something big and legendary."

"I am the best in the world of boxing. This exhibition will provide what fans want," said Mayweather.

Mayweather has competed in several exhibition fights since retiring in 2017. He had his last match against John Gotti III in August 2024.

Official winners of exhibition matches usually do not announce. In addition, the results of the match will also not be included in the records of each boxer.
