Ministry Of Transportation Budget 2026 Capai Rp28.49 T, Subsidy Rp2.76 T From Foreign Debt
Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Dudy Purwagandhi said the Ministry of Transportation's budget ceiling in 2026 was IDR 28.49 trillion to support the development of transportation infrastructure, improve public services, and support sustainable national connectivity.
"Based on a joint letter from the Minister of Finance and the Minister of National Development Planning/Bappenas dated July 24, 2025, the Ministry of Transportation's 2026 budget ceiling is IDR 28,489,404,712,000 (IDR 28.49 trillion)," said Minister of Transportation Dudy at the Commission V DPR RI Working Meeting, quoted from ANTARA, Friday, September 5, 2025.
Of the total budget ceiling of the Ministry of Transportation 2026, IDR 4.84 trillion will be used for personnel expenditure, IDR 3.05 trillion for operational goods expenditures, and IDR 20.59 trillion for non-operational expenditures such as infrastructure development and other projects to support the transportation sector.
Details of the source of budget funding in 2026 came from pure rupiah amounting to Rp19.7 trillion, Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) Rp3.8 trillion, Public Service Agency (BLU) Rp2.22 trillion, and foreign loans (PLN) worth Rp2.76 trillion.
"Then based on the program details, Rp9.77 trillion in the form of management support, Rp1.83 trillion for education and vocational, and Rp16.88 trillion for connectivity infrastructure," he explained.

The Minister of Transportation said that the 2026 budget had increased, where the Ministry of Transportation's indicative ceiling if referring to the joint letter of the Minister of Finance and the Minister of National Development Planning/Head of the National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) dated May 15, 2025 was set at IDR 24,405,964,888,000 (IDR 24.41 trillion).
According to Dudy, the Ministry of Transportation also received an additional budget ceiling of IDR 2.74 trillion from the previous ministry effective ceiling of IDR 26.76 trillion for the 2025 budget year. With this addition, the Ministry of Transportation's effective ceiling will be IDR 29.51 trillion for 2025.
Commission V DPR RI has approved the addition of the budget at the meeting.
The details of the addition of the 2025 budget come from the relaxation of efficiency blocking of Rp1.62 trillion, the BLU performance threshold of Rp62.90 billion and the addition of PNBP of Rp1.06 trillion.
Meanwhile, based on the type of expenditure, the addition of Rp797.76 billion was personnel expenditure, Rp469.72 billion in goods expenditure and Rp1.48 trillion in capital expenditures.
Meanwhile, Chairman of Commission V DPR RI Lasarus expressed his support for any acceleration of the work program of Ministries/Agencies to support economic growth.
"By the end of the year, the weather is usually not good, the challenges on the ground must be big. On the other hand, we hope that the APBN will provide a driving force for economic growth in the community," said Lasarus.
