The Ministry Of PKP Gets Rp10.89 Trillion Allotment In 2026, The Largest Allocation For Home Renovation
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) received a budget allotment of IDR 10.89 trillion in the 2026 RAPBN. Later, the budget will be used to support the construction of 406,457 housing units through various programs.
PKP Minister Maruarar Sirait (Ara) said the allocation of the budget would be used for the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) program or renovation of self-help houses that would receive an allocation of IDR 8.90 trillion.
The BSPS target next year is 400,000 housing units in coastal, urban and rural areas.
"For BSPS, compared to 2025 we increased 773.5 percent. So, the increase is quite significant for 2026," said Ara during a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission V DPR RI at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Thursday, September 4.
In addition to BSPS, there is an allocation for flats (rusun) programs of IDR 375.32 billion. Later the budget will be used to support the construction of 21 towers, including the multi-year contract (MYC) flat project in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN) and flats in Papua.
The flat budget fell 85.09 percent compared to the previous year which received an allocation of IDR 2.52 trillion for 2,270 flats.
This is because a number of strategic flat projects such as IKN and Wisma Atlet are almost complete.
There is also an allocation for special houses of Rp. 249.43 billion to build 654 housing units for post-disaster management and panel stocks for Healthy Simple Instant Houses (RISHA).
The allocation for Special Houses rose 8.55 percent compared to last year's IDR 229.78 billion for 476 housing units.
The next allocation is for Public Home Infrastructure, Facilities and Utilities (PSU) of Rp29.08 billion to support 2,007 housing units. That figure increased 40.78 percent from 2025.

Terdapat pula Rp167,92 miliar yang akan dialokasikan untuk monitoring program perumahan.
"Mohon persetujuan Komisi V terhadap usulan pagu anggaran Kementerian PKP sebesar Rp10,89 triliun," pungkasnya.

Then, the allocation for slum and sanitation settlements is IDR 155.85 billion with a target of 225 hectares in 15 locations and IDR 36 billion which is also prepared to fulfill the sanitation of 3,000 units.
Next, there is an allocation of management support worth IDR 981.90 billion, including salaries and allowances for 3,791 employees at the central, hall and provincial satkers.
There is also Rp167.92 billion which will be allocated for monitoring housing programs.
"We ask for Commission V's approval of the proposed PKP Ministry budget ceiling of Rp. 10.89 trillion," he concluded.
