Hanung Bramantyo Angry And Sad, AMIKOM Students Fall During Action In Yogyakarta

Director Hanung Bramantyo expressed his sadness over the death of an AMIKOM Yogyakarta student, Rheza Sendy Pratama due to alleged violence by the authorities when participating in the mass action of reducing the salary allowance of the Indonesian House of Representatives in his city.

"RESTAURANT IN POWER yo le. Shocked, sad, angry at what happened to this country. After the Ojol driver, now a student of AMIKOM Yogyakarta, died while carrying out the ACTION at the Yogyakarta POLICE HEADQUARTERS on Sunday," wrote Hanung Bramantyo quoted by VOI from Instagram @hanungbramantyo, Tuesday, September 2.

His sadness grew even more after he learned that Rheza was the son of an artistic team in the film he produced, Yoyon.

In fact, he received news that Rheza intends to intern in an artistic team on his upcoming film project.

"Even more angry and sad, it turns out that the victim is one of my own work environments. The son of one of my Crew Artistic Films, Mas Yoyon. According to the news, the deceased intends an internship at the artistic arrangement department in my film," continued Hanung Bramantyo.

Zaskia Adya Mecca's husband admitted that he wanted to fly directly to Yogyakarta after hearing the sad news. Unfortunately, Jakarta's less conducive condition made its intention to be restrained.

"Hearing that, my heart is getting stronger. I can't say anything other than expressing my deepest condolences to Mas Yoyon and his family," explained Hanung Bramantyo.

"I feel like I want to withdraw to Jogja, my mouth is stuck in my house complex in Jakarta. Just in case I'm afraid of being raided during the provocateur's delivery period," he continued.

He only prayed that Rheza Sendy Pratama's spirit could be placed in the best place in Heaven.

"Hopefully Husnul Khatimah's son yo mas Yoyon. Goodbye yo le. Hopefully, your friend will go to Heaven. Amen. Amen," said Hanung Bramantyo.

At the end of his writing, Hanung gave a message to his social media followers to remain careful and not easily provoked by individuals who are suspected of being provocateurs in every action.

"For all of my friends, don't be provoked. Stay at home. The Provocateur is working to create a situation in the city to make a Military Emergency, by making leaflets inviting action. BE CAREFUL: take care of each other. Take care of each other, take care of your neighbors," he concluded.
