Central Java Police Name 46 Suspects Of Riot Demo, Based On 17 Police Reports
CENTRAL JAVA - The Central Java Regional Police (Polda) named 46 suspects in various acts of mass riots that occurred in various local provinces from August 29 to September 1, 2025.
Director of the General Criminal Investigation of the Central Java Police, Kombes Pol. Dwi Subagio said that during the last 4 days there had been the arrest of 1,747 people suspected of being linked to mass riots in various regions.
"Of these, law enforcement consists of 17 police reports and the determination of 46 suspects," he said in Semarang, Tuesday, was confiscated by Antara.
For the Central Java Regional Police itself, he continued, there were two reports of incidents of riots being handled.
The first case handled by the Central Java Police was related to the attack on the Central Java Police Headquarters, including the burning of a car in the courtyard of the Central Java Governor's office.
"The police have identified the two perpetrators, but no action has been taken because they are still completing the evidence," he said.

He said that in this case the police named seven suspects, of which six people were minors.
"For adult suspects, detention is carried out, for child suspects, no detention is carried out," he added.
The perpetrators were charged with Articles 212 and 214 of the Criminal Code regarding violating officers' orders.
