Marc Marquez Beware Of Aprilia Threats At MotoGP Catalunya

JAKARTA Marc Marquez is wary of the possibility of Aprilia's rise in the 2025 Catalunya MotoGP race which will take place this weekend.

The race at the Catalunya Circuit will take place on September 5-7, 2025. This is the 15th series race in this season's calendar.

Aprilia will most likely disrupt Marquez's dominance there after their impressive results in the Hungarian MotoGP on August 24, 2025.

At that time, the two manufacturers, Marco Bezzecchi and Jorge Martin - who are defending champions - finished in third and fourth place in the main race.

"Currently, Aprilia seems to be getting closer, especially Martin finishing fourth (in Hungary)," Marquez said as quoted by Crash.

Aprilia's recent development was marked by Bezzecki's victory in the 2025 English MotoGP. Since then, this Italian racer has been a regular challenger to the podium.

Later in the recent Austrian and Hungarian MotoGPs, Bezzecchi managed to lead the race before finally finishing in third place.

"They race well, they continue to grow, but our motorbikes continue to work very well and we continue to win," said Marquez.

Marquez now leads the standings with a collection of 445 points. Ducati Lonovo Team is 175 points ahead of his younger brother Alex Marquez (Gresini Racing) in second place.
