Police Secure 3,195 People Related To Chaos In Various Regions, 55 Become Suspects
The National Police noted that 3,195 people were arrested in various areas related to the riots that occurred during the period 25 to 31 August 2025.
Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Trunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, confirmed this matter. Thousands of people were arrested in 15 Polda.
"That's right, based on data from the regional police," Trunoyudo told VOI, Monday, September 1.
Based on the data, of the thousands of people, 387 of them have been sent home. Meanwhile, 2,753 are still in the process of being investigated.
In addition, 55 people have been named as suspects in the riots. However, it has not been explained about the crime they committed.
Meanwhile, thousands of people were arrested with the following details;
1. Polda Metro Jaya: 1,240 people
2. East Java Regional Police: 709 people: 173 have been sent home, 485 are in the process of being investigated, 51 have been named as suspects
3. Central Java Police: 653 people are in the process of being investigated
4. West Java Police: 147 people: 23 have been sent home, 124 are in the process of being investigated
5. Bali Police: 138 people: 38 have been sent home, 100 are in the process of being investigated
6. West Kalimantan Police: 91 people: 86 have been sent home, 5 are in the process of being investigated

The action was followed by the direction of President Prabowo Subianto, who previously asked the National Police Chief and the TNI Commander not to hesitate to take action against rioters.
