KPK Examines Acting Director Of Perhutani Regarding Allegations Of Bribery In Forest Area Management V

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned the Acting President Director (Plt) of Perhutani Natalias Anis Harjanto today. He was questioned regarding the alleged bribery in the management of the forest area Inhutani V which was revealed through a hand arrest operation (OTT).

"The investigation was carried out at the KPK's Red and White building," said KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo to reporters in a written statement, Monday, September 1.

Apart from Natalias, investigators also summoned two other people, namely Ali Lukmanul Hakim as Head of the Operations Division of PT Inhutani V and Supardi as Head of the Legal Bureau of the Ministry of Forestry. The three of them were summoned as witnesses.

"The KPK has scheduled witness examinations related to allegations of corruption related to the Management of Forest Areas in the Inhutani V area," said Budi.

Natalias arrived to provide information before investigators at around 09.00 WIB. Likewise with two other witnesses.

The KPK stated that it would trace the flow of bribes for forest area management permits that ensnared Dicky Yuana Rudy as President Director of PT Inhutani V. Including the existence of money flowing to the State Forestry Public Company (Perum Perhutani).

To note, PT Inhuntani V is a subsidiary of the state-owned company Perum Perhutani. These two entities manage forest management in the country.

"That previously Inhutani was I, II, III to V, a subsidiary of Perhutani. Of course, we will also see whether this management, land management, land cooperation is only up to its subsidiary or also flowing money to its parent company, in this case Perhutani," said Acting Deputy for Enforcement and Execution of the KPK Asep Guntur Rahayu at a press conference at the Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 14.

Previously reported, the KPK appointed the Managing Director of PT Inhutani V, Dicky Yuana Rady; Director of PT Paramita Mulia Langgeng (PML), Djunaedi; and Aditya as the licensing staff of SB Group as suspects for alleged bribery for forest use permits. This determination was made after all three were entangled in a hand arrest operation (OTT) on Wednesday, August 13.

In this silent operation, the KPK confiscated 189 thousand Singapore dollars in cash; IDR 8.5 million; Jeep Rubicon; and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.

For his actions, Djunaidi and Aditya as the givers, are suspected of committing acts of corruption as regulated in Article 5 paragraph (1) letter a or b or Article 13 of the Corruption Eradication Law, jo. Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, Dicky as the recipient is suspected of committing a criminal act of corruption as regulated in Article 12 letter a or b or Article 11 of the Corruption Eradication Law.
