Police Evacuate The Body Of A Spanish Foreigner To Bhayangkara Mataram Hospital

JAKARTA - The West Lombok Resort Police, West Nusa Tenggara, evacuated the body of a foreign citizen from Spain with the initials MMMC (73), who is suspected of being a victim of murder, to Bhayangkara Hospital, Mataram.

"We took him to Bhayangkara Hospital for further investigation," said West Lombok Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police Yasmara Harahap through a statement received in Mataram, Sunday.

The victim's body was found on the night of Saturday, August 29 on the coast of the Senggigi area, West Lombok Regency, just below the corner of Cafe Alberto's incline.

Yasmara explained that the victim was reported missing to the police on August 5, 2025. From the report, the victim disappeared on August 2, 2025, in the last position staying at the Bumi Aditya Hotel, Loco Hamlet, Senggigi Village.

The reporter explained the basis for reporting to the police after being suspicious of the language of the victim's reply to messages via cell phones that were not as usual.

The complainant suspected that the reply was not MMMC, but someone else. As a follow-up to the report, the police carried out a series of investigations in the field and tracked the victim's cell phone.

Departing from cell phone tracking, the police arrested two people suspected of being the perpetrators of the murder, with the initials SU (34) and HR (30), residents of Loco Hamlet, Senggigi Village, Batulayar District.

"SU was arrested while visiting his family at the Mataram City Hospital, while HR was secured at his home in Loco Hamlet," he said.
