Geothermal Soccer Championship 2025 Held For 2 Days
JAKARTA Geothermal Soccer Indonesia (GSI) officially held a soccer tournament titled Geothermal Soccer Championship 2025 which lasted for two days.
The first football tournament in the Indonesian geothermal industry to support Indonesia Gold's 2045 vision took place on 30-31 August 2025 at Asiop Stadium Jakarta, East Jakarta.
The chairman of the Indonesian Geothermal Soccer,manfaat Hakhama, emphasized that the 2025 Geothermal Soccer Championship was the first innovation to combine sports with geothermal energy promotions.
"Sports have the power to unite, and we believe this event will be an important momentum towards Indonesia as the world's geothermal energy leader," he said.
The first football tournament, which is specifically dedicated to the geothermal energy industry in Indonesia, is here as a new breakthrough to strengthen friendship, strengthen cross-stakeholder collaboration, as well as introduce great potential geothermal energy to the wider community through competitive and inclusive sports spirit.

This tournament received broad support from various industry stakeholders, ranging from developers, contractors, consultants, and supporting service providers.

Representative from the Indonesian Panasbumi Association (API), Julfi Hadi, added that this initiative not only strengthens relations between industry players, but also becomes a symbol that the geothermal energy sector is a progressive and open sector for innovation.
"Collaboration like this will accelerate our move towards Indonesia Gold 2045," he said.
Meanwhile, Pradana Indraputra, representative of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM)/Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation (EBTKE), said that the 2025 Geothermal Soccer Championship is a creative way to bring geothermal energy closer to the community.
"With a humanist approach through exercise, messages regarding clean energy can be conveyed more broadly, while strengthening the positive image of the industry in the eyes of the public," he said.
Geothermal Soccer Championship 2025 is designed as an industrial gathering forum in a sporty and family atmosphere.
The goal is to increase public awareness, strengthen the image of the geothermal industry as a dynamic and innovative sector, and support the big vision of making Indonesia a green powerhouse region.
This tournament is open to all stakeholders of the geothermal energy industry: developer companies, contractors, consultants, academics, government agencies, and the media.
