Results Of The 2025/2026 Super League: Hajar Dewa United 3-1, Persija To The Top Again
JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta returned with three points after overthrowing the host Dewa United 3-1 in the fourth week of the 2025/2026 Super League at the Banten International Stadium, Friday, August 29, 2025, WIB night.
The victory brought the Kemayoran Tigers back to the top of the Super League standings with 10 points, while Dewa was stuck in 14th position with three points.
The match was tough in the first half hours. Both teams are still playing cautiously to find the gap between each opponent.
During that period, Persija got a chance first from Allano De Souza's header, but it's still wide. Dewa United took a threatening turn through Taisei Marukawa's move which ended with a pull pass. Alex Martins met the pass, but it was still wide for a week.
The Kemayoran Tigers again had a chance to break into the opponent's goal when Maxwell headed in a cross from Nico Alfriyanto, but to no avail.

Persija finally opened the scoring in the 30th minute through Maxwell's goal. From a tight angle, he fired a low shot into the lower right corner without being driven away by goalkeeper Sonny totaling. The 1-0 score lasted until the break.
Entering the second half, Dewa United immediately aggressively attacked the visitors' defense. In the end, in the 51st minute they equalized through Alexis Messidoro's action.

Triggered by Dewa United's goal, Persija immediately dominated possession. Mauricio Souza's men were then able to take the lead again through the goal of the new player Vanbasty Sousa in the 63rd minute. The goal came from a corner kick that was struck by Vanbasty Sousa's header.
Left behind by one goal made Dewa United change trying to relieve pressure and spread threats. Their efforts paid off when Stefano Lilipaly who came off the bench scored for the hosts. However, the goal was disallowed because he was trapped offside first.
Not long after, Alex Martins also had a good chance. It's just that, his shot is still soaring.
