BLACKPINK's Lisa Diet Pattern That Keeps Her Weight Ideal

JAKARTA - Not only known as a young icon with a fashion taste that has always been in the spotlight, Lisa BLACKPINK recently shared her ideal body secret. In an interview with a podcaster from Thailand, Lisa revealed that she had a simple way to maintain body shape.

"To be honest, I did eat a lot, but in small portions. I get full quickly, so I usually eat a little. I never eat all the food," Lisa said, quoted from The Indian Express page.

Although now limiting the portion more often, Lisa recalls the moment when she was 17'18 years old, when she experienced a period of growth. At that time, she could eat much more than usual.

"Once, I ate up to one and a half chickens. I also don't know how to spend that much," he said with a laugh.

According to nutritionists, what Lisa does is actually in line with the concept ofportion control or food portion control.

Dr. Deepali Sharma, a clinical nutritionist from CK Birla Hospital, Delhi, said eating without paying attention to the portion could actually damage the purpose of losing or maintaining weight.

By regulating the amount of food and drinks consumed every time you eat, we can naturally reduce calorie intake without feeling offended. This will help decrease or maintain gradual and sustainable weight, "explained Dr. Sharma.

The portion control also provides many other benefits, such as improving digestion, preventing excessive eating, and helping regulate blood sugar levels.

"National intake becomes more balanced, the risk of malnutrition or excess of unhealthy food is reduced. As a result, energy increases, sleep more soundly, mood is more stable, and the risk of lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, and obesity also decreases," he added.

In line with that, Dr. Manjusha Agarwal, senior consultant to internal medicine at Gleneas Hospital Parel, Mumbai, emphasized that controlling the portion consistently for a year could provide real changes, both physically and mentally.

Many people experience a steady weight loss, stomach is not easily bloating, digestion is better, and avoid stomach acid. Blood sugar levels can also be more stable, especially for prediabetics or type 2 diabetes sufferers, explained Dr. Agarwal.

Dr. Agarwal added that portion control is also good for heart health because it is able to lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels. In addition, this habit can improve emotional relationships with food.

People become more aware of when they are really hungry, not just eating because of boredom or habits. Emotionally, this reduces feelings of guilt and stress related to eating." he said.
