Demonstrations In The House Of Representatives Ended In Chaos, Police Called The Unknown Group The Trigger

JAKARTA - The riots colored the demonstration in the DPR/MPR building area, today. The police said the culprits were groups whose origins were unknown.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the groups were not involved in expressing opinions. They immediately attacked.

"Other parties who did not express their opinion in front of the DPR building, or around this, but immediately took anarchic actions. It is not known where the organization came from, which entity, who the field coordinator, and so on," Ade told reporters, Thursday, August 28.

In addition to attacking officers, the group also damaged public facilities, causing disruption to order.

The acts of vandalism carried out ranged from destroying fences, CCTV to busway sparators. In fact, during the clash they burned other goods.

"To damage the edge of the fence, damage CCTV, then the busway separator is damaged, crossed out along the walls. Then commit other acts of anarchy, namely entering the toll road," said Ade.

For that reason, the police carried out the control stage, starting from giving an appeal. However, the group ignored it. They are even more wild to attack the officers.

"So that in the end we carried out the stages of the consolidation activities in order to create a situation for us, it was still starting from appeals, appeals, which were finally carried out by the control," said Ade.
