Expelled From Australia, Iranian Ambassador Calls PM Albanese's Allegation Of Lies
Iranian Ambassador Ahmad Sadeghi who was expelled from Australia has denied Tehran's accusations of being behind the anti-juddic (anisemite) attack. Sadegri called Ausrralia's accusations related to property arson attacks in the cities of Sydney and Melbourne a lie.
Australia has given Sadegri 72 hours since Tuesday to leave the country. Three other Iranian embassy officials were given seven days to leave.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese received a briefing from the Australian Security Intelligence Organization (SAIA) on Monday regarding payment evidence to criminals who he said were linked to two attacks, in synagoge and cosher restaurants, to individuals abroad and the Tehran Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

"These are all baseless accusations and lies," Sadeghi told reporters from the local television network Nine and Seven at Sydney Airport on Thursday, August 28 evening.
Previously in Canberra, Sadeghi left his residence to say goodbye.
"I love the Australian people, goodbye," he said, waving at the television camera.
Australia has said it will blacklist the Tehran Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, joining the United States and Canada, which have blacklisted the IRGC.
