The Perpetrator Of The Grandma Persecutor Who Was Accused Of Kidnapping A Child Was Sentenced To 2 Years In Prison
JAKARTA - The Cianjur District Court, West Java, sentenced Ahmad and Abdul Kohar to two years in prison for assaulting Grandma Asiyah (76), a resident of Warungkondang District who was accused of kidnapping a child.
Public Relations Officer of the Cianjur District Court Raja Bonar Wansi Siregar said the panel of judges found both of them guilty of violating Article 170 paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code, the defendant was proven legally and convincingly to have committed violence causing the victim to suffer injuries.
"The panel of judges sentenced the defendants Ahmad and Abdul Kohar to two years in prison for being proven to have committed violence, causing the victim to suffer injuries," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, August 28.
Both of them were immediately handed over to the Class IIB Cianjur Prison, in order to serve their sentences for their actions.
"Both of them were handed over to prisons to serve their sentences," he said.
