Clashes Broke Again Near GBK, Two People Were Arrested And Then Beaten

JAKARTA - Clashes between the police and the mass dominated by students broke out again. Two people from the mass group were arrested.

The clash occurred on Jalan Asia Afrika, precisely around Gate 1 of the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) at around 17.36 WIB.

Observations at the location, the masses threw stones at police officers with various sizes. They also attacked the police using long bamboo.

At that time, the police chose not to fight back. Dozens of Shabara members with shields just stood right in front of the masses.

The screams sounded loud from the masses. They pinned insults to the police.

Before long, the police moved. They ran after the crowd. Until finally two people were arrested.

"Arrest it arrest," shouted a policeman.

After being arrested, the two men were immediately surrounded by the police. They were beaten by the groundless.

Hundreds of masses from various elements and students again raided the DPR/MPR building on Jalan Gatot Soebroto, Jakarta on Thursday, August 28. The crowd arrived at around 14.00 WIB.

The masses of various elements of society and students came equipped with their respective campus flags and the One Piece flag. Some students also wear their respective campus alma maters.
