Russia Denies News Of Its Reconnaissance Plane Flying Crossing US Routes In Germany

The Kremlin has denied reports by the New York Times that Russia flew reconnaissance drones over routes used by the United States and its allies to transport military supplies through eastern Germany.

NYT quoted other US and Western officials as saying.

When asked about the report, Russian spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the Kremlin did not have time to read the news carefully.

"But it's hard to imagine, because then Germany must have seen it clearly, and they certainly won't remain silent. So, of course, all of this is more like fake news in the newspaper," he said.
