The 'Delusion' Series Production Team Apologizes After Leaving Garbage In Jeju

JAKARTA - Disney+'s latest series production team, Delusion released an apology after they were said to have left the remaining production waste on Jeju Island which was set.

Thursday, August 28, an upload in the online community wrote that the crew left trash on set. The post also shows some garbage across the forest like a former coffee set showing a photo of actor Kim Seon Ho as one of the players.

On the same day, the production house Showbox released a statement apologizing and explained the chronology of why the garbage was scattered in Jeju.

"Because filming was finished at night, we couldn't thoroughly clean up because of bad eyes," said the Showbox team.

"When we realized the situation, we immediately apologized to the production manager and relevant authorities and cleaned up all the garbage. The area is now clean," he said.

Furthermore, they also apologized to the public for knowing this condition and not reflecting healthy production.

"We apologize for failing to clean the location after filming and causing discomfort. In the future, we will make sure that something like this doesn't happen again," he said.

The Delusion series is an adaptation of a webtoon of the same name set in 1935. Delusion tells the story of Yun Iho (Kim Seon Ho), a painter who is asked to paint Song Jeong Hwa (Bae Suzy), a woman who is not seen in public. Yun Iho tries to find the secret behind Jeong Hwa's presence.
