DKI Provincial Government's Regional Expenditures Only 37 Percent, Pramono: The Problem Is The Same As The Central Government

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung and the ranks of the DKI Provincial Government explained the performance of expenditure income in the 2025 budget year APBD as of July 31.

In the data presented, the realization of regional spending in the second quarter of 2025 is still 37.45 percent or Rp30.95 trillion from the target of Rp82.67 trillion.

Pramono admitted that the low realization of spending was indeed a problem experienced by many government agencies, both central and regional.

"Regional spending is only 37 percent. And this is always experienced in our government. His behavior may still be the same as that of the central government," said Pramono at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Wednesday, August 27.

In his experience in the central government as Cabinet Secretary, Pramono said the government often accelerates the completion of budget spending towards the end of the year.

According to Pramono, this habit needs to be changed so that the DKI Provincial Government can consistently absorb budget spending on time.

"This is what we will do next. Because this is always a problem, what the tenders are followed, the procurement is subject, and so on," said Pramono.

On the other hand, Pramono assessed that the current performance of regional income in Jakarta is quite good. Where, the realization of regional income in the middle of the year has reached 55.83 percent or Rp45.63 trillion from the target of Rp81.73 trillion.

"If you look at it, actually taxes in Jakarta are very good. The target levies are approximately 14-15 percent above the national tax," he explained.
