"Traffic engineering is situational in nature. If there are quite a lot of people present and use the front road section of the DPR, then traffic flow will be diverted. However, if it is still possible to share roads with other communities, then there will be no diversion," he said.
Anticipatory steps are prepared if the masses start to enter the Inner City Toll Road. The flow of vehicles will be diverted so as not to be trapped in the crowd.
"If there is a density or disturbance on the toll road, we will issue vehicles at the exit of the toll road in front of the Polda, at the Tegal Parang exit, as well as from the west at the Slipi exit. This is to maintain the safety of road users," he said.
