According to Muhammad Sidik's statement, the incident occurred when he returned from the office to his house via Tanah Abang. However, due to a traffic jam, he took a shortcut through Jalan S. Parman.
Near the Slipi roundabout, suddenly his official car was approached by the mass of the action, most of which were school children. A provocateur shouted by calling Sidik's official car a member of the DPR car.
Sidik tried to explain that he was an ASN village. Unfortunately, the masses did not hear and continued to damage the car just because of the red plate.
Finally, Sidik and his driver got out of the car because the crowd was getting violent. Not only was the car damaged, as a result of the riot, Sidik lost 2 mobile phones for Rp. 25 million while running away from the tantrums of the masses.
