NIB And KBLI Licensing Rules For The Red And White Kopdes Will Be Facilitated

JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Cooperatives (Wamenkop) Ferry Juliantono together with Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM Todotua Pasaribu agreed to relax the rules regarding the licensing of Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and the Classification of the Indonesian Business Field Baku (KBLI) for the operation of the Red and White Village/Sub-District Cooperative (Kopdes/Kel) throughout Indonesia.

"We have data on 80,605 Kopdes/Kel Merah Putih which already has a Cooperative Identification Number or NIK. All data is with the Ministry of Cooperatives, so it is hoped that the Kopdes will no longer need to input for the NIB licensing process," said Ferry, Wednesday, August 27.

He explained, of the total Kopdes, they already have a cooperative legal entity, with the names of administrators, supervisors, and types of businesses listed. However, to be able to obtain and market products from SOEs, such as LPG gas, fertilizers, cooking oil, and so on, the Red and White Kopdes need NIB. Currently, only around 7,900 Kopdes are actively inputting in Microsite.

So that the Deputy Minister of Cooperatives and Deputy Minister of Investment also agreed to form a joint desk to input the Red and White Kopdes data into the OSS.

"We also agree and agree that there will be training for the Red and White Kopdes in inputting data to the OSS," continued Ferry.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM Todotua Pasaribu suggested that to facilitate the process, the KBLI of the entire Red and White Kopdes should be uniformed by filling in as many potential businesses as possible that can be run.

Todotua understands that NIB is closely related to the financing sector for the Red and White Kopdes, especially from Himbara.

"So, what NIB holders must understand, it is the Investment Activity Report or LKPM. It is related to the realization of investment that must be reported," he continued.

As is known, LKPM OSS refers to the Investment Activity Report (LKPM) which was reported through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system on the oss.go.id website. LKPM is a periodic report that contains developments in investment realization, labor, production, and problems faced by business actors, and must be submitted by business actors to the government.

"Later on, on our platform there must be a special space or slot about the Red and White Kopdes. There is a special cluster for the Red and White Kopdes. The important thing is that the Kopdes can move quickly," said Todotua.
