Mantan Kabagops Polres Solsel Dituntut Hukuman Mati Kasus Pembunuhan Kasat Reskrim

PADANG - Public Prosecutor (JPU) has demanded the former Head of Operations Section (Kabagops) of the South Solok Police AKP Dadang Iskandar with the death penalty

Dadang Iskandar became a defendant in the alleged murder of a fellow police officer, namely the Head of the South Solmantan Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKP Ryanto Ulil Anshari (now Kompol Anumerta).

"Demanding the defendant's actions with the death penalty as stated in the first and second primary charges," said Public Prosecutor Moch Taufik Yanuarsah Cs in his lawsuit at the Padang District Court as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, August 26.

Responding to the prosecution's demands, the defendant, who was accompanied by legal adviser Mahmud Syaukat, would file a defense (pledoi) in the next trial.

Dadang Iskandar's shooting of Ulil's victim took place in November 2024 at the Resort Police Office (Solsel).

In the previous trial, Dadang revealed his motive for shooting the victim was due to emotion.

"I did an act (shooting the victim) because of mixed emotions that made me not move forward, I made a mistake," explained the defendant before the trial on Thursday (7/8).

His emotions were triggered by the attitude of the victim when he was visited at the South Solmantan Police office where they both served.

The defendant's purpose in visiting the victim was to release the sandlifter driver who was previously secured by Satreskrim personnel for alleged illegal mining.

At the time he met, the defendant invited the victim to shake hands, but the victim did not heed it, when asked to speak, nor was the victim abused.

"At that time I said whether there was no solution that could be found, but he (Kasatreskrim) was still busy with his cellphone," explained the defendant.

The defendant, who admitted that he was upset, finally took out a firearm and shot the victim with a distance of about two meters to the victim's head.

"After the first shot, I then opened a second shot because I thought the victim was going to take his firearm," Dadang explained.

The defendant also confirmed that he shot at the South Solmantan Police Chief's official residence after shooting Kasatreskrim, although he certainly could not remember how many shots were fired.
