This New Feature In Google Pixel 10 Makes DSLR Cameras Nervous!

Google has just launched the Pixel 10 Series with the most advanced camera feature ever. This new phone combines hardware upgrades with AI-based features to produce clearer photos, smoother videos, and easier editing processes.

Here are the full details of all the new camera features and improvements that Pixel 10 Series users can enjoy.

The Pixel 10 Series for the first time introduced a 5x telephoto lens. The standard Pixel 10 comes with a 48 MP main sensor and an 13 MP ultra-wide sensor. Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL have a 50 MP wide camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. Both models also support Super Res Zoom up to 100x. All three devices are powered by Google's Tensor G5 chip for faster processing and higher resolution results.

For video recording, the new optical image stabilization system has a compensation range double that of the previous generation. Combined with Google's Video Boost processing, this feature allows for more stable recording in all conditions.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold model adds a new 48 MP rear camera sensor, as well as a state-of-the-art ultrawide lens and telephoto that supports Macro Focus and Super Res Zoom.

Better Photo Processing

Google has refined the HDR+ workflow to improve color, focus, detail, and noise reduction. Portrait Mode has been updated with segmentation, sharpness, and better texture for more accurate results. In Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, users can take 50 MP high-resolution images for additional details.

Google also added an advanced feature called Camera Coach for novice photographers. This feature uses the Gemini AI model to guide users when taking photos. The Camera Coach provides step-by-step advice on lighting, framing, and composition to help improve the shots.

For group photos, the Auto Best Take feature simplifies the process. This feature analyzes up to 150 frames in seconds and selects a frame where everyone looks the best. If there isn't a perfect frame, this feature will automatically combine multiple frames.

Advanced Zoom Capabilities

Pro Res Zoom on the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL can enlarge up to 100x. The Tensor G5 chip processes these images using diffusion models, keeping details clear even remotely. This feature is very useful for photographing wildlife, landscapes, and landmarks.

Editing in Google Photos can now be done in natural language. Users can type instructions such as "eliminating reflection of light" or "brightening of photos" and editing will be implemented automatically.

Accessibility and Special Mode

Guided Frame has been upgraded with Gemini AI to help people who are blind or have visual impairments. This feature uses audio clues, vibrations, and scene descriptions to make it easier to take photos independently.

Panorama Mode now supports 5x telephoto lensing. This feature can produce images up to 100 MP with manual focus, zoom support, and overall quality improvement.

On the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, the Instant View feature allows users to view their latest photos alongside the viewfinder when the phone opens, making it faster to review and re-take photos if needed.

All Pixel 10 phones now support C2PA Content Credentials. This system stores safe metadata on each photo to show how the photo is taken or edited. This information is processed on the device and can be reviewed directly on Google Photos.
