Damaged Engine, China's Aircraft London-Beijing Route Landing Emergency In Russia
JAKARTA - The Chinese Aircraft flying from London to Beijing with 265 passengers made an emergency landing in Russia due to engine problems.
Flightradar24 shows the Boeing 777 landed at Nizhnevartovsk Airport, Russia, in western Siberia.
"While flying from London to Beijing, the crew of the Chinese Boeing 777-300 Air decided to land at alternative airfields in Russia," Rosaviatsia said, Russia's civil aviation authority.
"The initial cause was damage to one of the engines," the statement added.
