U-21 Men's Volleyball Championship: Losing To Argentina 2-3, Indonesia's Steps Are Getting Tough
JAKARTA - The U-21 Indonesian Men's Volleyball National Team (Timnas) lost when they met Argentina U-21 in the fourth match of Group D of the 2025 U-21 Volleyball World Championships (FIVB Volleyball Men's U-21 World Championship 2025), Monday, August 25, 2025, Jiangmen Sports Center, Jiangmen, China.
The Red-White team played tight before losing 2-3 with a score of 25-23, 25-27, 25-23, 20-25.
Indonesia struggled to carry out the Argentine attack at the start of the first set. However, they reversed the advantage when creating five consecutive points in the middle of the set and changed the position to 15-13.
In a superior position, the Garuda Muda Team played so stable that they finally closed the first set with 25-23.

In the second set, it was Argentina's turn to master the game from the start of the match. On the other hand, Indonesia has difficulty building attacks because they are often wrong in receiving the ball.
Entering the middle of the set, Argentina is five points ahead at 15-10. Even so, Anwar Sadat's team never gave up.

The match continued to the fifth set. In this determination set, Indonesia tried to press and force a 10-10 draw.
However, Argentina was so solid that it closed the last set with a position of 15-13.
This result made Indonesia drop to fifth place with five points after winning once and losing twice.
Garuda Muda's steps to the round of 16 are increasingly difficult. They had to face France U-21 in the last match of Group D on Tuesday, August 26, 2025.
Victory became a fixed price in that match if they wanted to enter the round of 16. If they fail, they will only participate in the classification fight ranked 17-24.
France is not an easy opponent. The reason is, their qualifying for the round of 16 has been guaranteed thanks to three wins and one defeat from four matches.
