Minister Of Manpower Yassierli: Green HR Is Increasingly Needed As Sustainability Commitments
JAKARTA - Minister of Manpower (Menaker) Yassierli said the competence of human resources (HR) related to energy and green jobs (green jobs) is increasingly needed in line with global commitments related to sustainability.
"The need for workers who have expertise in the field of environmentally friendly continues to increase along with the world's commitment to sustainability," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 25.
For this reason, the government through the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) will continue to encourage the development of green jobs in Indonesia through various initiatives.
"This strategic initiative aims to ensure the availability of competent human resources relevant to future job market demands," Yassierli said.
Furthermore, the Minister of Manpower explained the strategy, namely the focus on transforming the Job Training Center (BLK), and cooperation with the industrial sector in designing a joint curriculum.
"This effort is expected to align the vocational training program directly with industry demand, while ensuring its relevance to developing environmentally friendly technology and practices," he said.
Yassierli's next strategy is to improve the ability of instructors at the training center by providing coaches with sustainable professional development and industrial experience so that they can provide cutting-edge skills training.
No less important, the Minister of Manpower also highlighted Project-Based Learning (PBL) by providing direct and operational training.
"Through this method, participants can apply knowledge in real projects, bridge the gap between theory and practice in the workplace," said the Minister of Manpower.
Another step is the Talent and Innovation Hub at BLK, by turning BLK facilities into a center of advantage that promotes the community of practice, encourages innovation, and fosters the next generation of green professionals," he added.

Selain itu, Yassierli menambahkan, dalam rangka Gerakan Produktivitas Nasional (GPN), pemerintah juga akan intervensi memberikan dukungan teknis bagi perusahaan yang ingin menerapkan proyek produktivitas hijau.
“Sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan kinerja lingkungan,” ujar dia.

In addition, Yassierli added, in the context of the National Productivity Movement (GPN), the government will also intervene to provide technical support for companies that want to implement green productivity projects.
