Masses 'Learn' Police Cars During Demonstration Today, Ask To Release Arrested Students

JAKARTA - The crowd beat up a police prisoner's car. They are trying to free high school students who were arrested.

The action began when the masses who had gathered in front of the DPR/MPR Building rushed towards Jalan Gerbang Pemuda. However, only a few meters later, the crowd saw a police car passing towards Slipi.

Some of the people from the mass group also saw students in the car. So, shouted and the green-wanned car was targeted.

"Woi.. wooi.. that's you," shouted one of the masses.

The crowd then beat the car. They threw bottles at him and hit him. In the end, the students, who numbered about 10 people, were forcibly expelled.

"Open it up, let it go," shouted the crowd.

Previously, it was reported that around 1,250 personnel were deployed in a scheme to secure demonstration activities in the DPR/MPR RI Building area. Thousands of personnel are a combination of the Police, TNI and the DKI Regional Government.
